WorldSkills Brunei National Competition 2026 Concludes with Medal Ceremony

Jerudong: WorldSkills Brunei National Competition 2026 concluded with a medal presentation ceremony on the afternoon of 2nd February. The event celebrated excellence in technical skills, creativity, problem solving, and adherence to international WorldSkills standards. Organized by the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE) with support from the Ministry of Education, the ceremony took place at BRIDEX Hall, Jerudong.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the medals were awarded by Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd. Salleh, Minister of Education. Participants included youths from colleges, secondary schools, IBTE institutions, higher education institutions, and training centers nationwide. Winners of the competition may advance to further training and selection processes to represent Brunei at the WorldSkills ASEAN competition and internationally.
