Berakas: The Young Writers Program 2025 concluded with a ceremony where participants of the Short Story Writing Workshop, organized by the Language and Literature Bureau (DBP), were awarded certificates and souvenirs.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event took place at DBP in Berakas on November 5, 2025. The Acting Director of DBP, Awang Suip bin Haji Abdul Wahab, presented the certificates and souvenirs to the young writers. The program’s objective was to guide young writers to develop their skills in a systematic and focused manner, with the support of literary experts and established writers. The ceremony also featured performances where participants read fragments of their short stories.
