With a goal to reduce poverty, a non-government organisation, NGO held the 'Youth Against Poverty' workshop at the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex in the capital yesterday morning.
The workshop was conducted by four speakers and attended by 50 participants from different backgrounds in business and entrepreneurship. With the theme "Innovation Fulfils Inclusivity", among the objectives of the workshop was to provide a true understanding of the poverty issue to youths besides addressing social issues through entrepreneurship. It is hoped the participants will improve their critical thinking and strategic management skills as well as be able to express their ideas with help from the speakers and other parties involved in the programme. According to the Project Manager this year's programme is conducted with the cooperation of Standard Chartered Bank.
