Youth Development Programme

90 trainees of the Youth Development Programme have completed their Self-Development Programme for January 2019 session. Yesterday morning, they received certificates at the Course Trainees Passing Out Parade which was held at the Youth Development Centre in Kampung Tanah Jambu.

Certificates were presented by Pengiran Mohammad Amirrizal bin Pengiran Haji Mahmud, the Permanent Secretary for Administration, Finance and Estate at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports. The recipients comprising 84 trainees from the Brunei Muara District branch and six from Belait District. 29 best trainees were selected to receive certificates and awards through the programme and their perspective categories, while the Overall Best Awards went to Awang Ahmad Fahmi Jumaili bin Mohd Norisham and Dayang Aniq Futhia'ah binti Abdul Hadi.

The 6-month programme among other matters aimed to provide the trainees with exposure to beneficial outdoor activities that enhance discipline, health and fitness as well as act a platform to foster closer relations. The trainees will undergo the Working Attachment Programme in the government and private sectors.
