About 100 members of Pertiwi Association from the four districts joined the Khatam Al- Quran Ceremony at the Suri Seri Begawan Raja Pengiran Anak Damit Kampung Manggis/Madang Mosque, 2nd April morning.
Among those present were Datin Hajah Siti Hajar binti Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Haji Md Yusof, President of Pertiwi Association and Datin Hajah Fatimah binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Abang Razali, Vice President of the Association and members of the Association from the four districts. Such a ceremony was one of the association’s annual activities, aside from to encourage the reading of Al-Quran to further glorify the atmosphere of Ramadhan.
