A local woman believed to be carrying out immoral activities was apprehended in a raid conducted by the Anti-Vice and Gambling Suppression Investigation Unit, Criminal Investigation Department, Royal Brunei Police Force. The raid carried out yesterday afternoon targeted a room at a boarding house in Kampung Mulaut.
The unemployed 41 year old suspect has been staying at the boarding room for the past three days. During the inspection conducted, a number of evidence was found such as mobile phones, cash money as well as drug paraphernalia. The suspect was immediately brought to Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha Hospital to undergo a COVID-19 screening test and detained at Seria Police Station to await the test result before further investigation is carried out.
