The Mualaf or New Convert Group in the rural area also do not miss in glorifying this blessed month of Ramadhan by involving themselves with various religious activities. The Islamic Da’wah Centre held a Tadarus Ceremony at two venues in ulu Belait District, 1st April.
The delegation was led by Awang Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh, Director of Islamic Da’wah Centre. The delegation first held a Tadarus ceremony at Datu Maharaja Setia Dian Primary School in Kampung Sukang. The ceremony was highlighted with a mass Zohor prayer, Munajat Ramadhan virtually and tadarus.
The delegation also held such a ceremony at the Kampung Melilas Religious Hall, Ulu Belait. The ceremony was filled with the presentation of endowment of Al-Qur’an and books published by the Islamic Da’wah Centre. Such a visit aimed to invite the new converts to mutually internalise Ramadhan by performing various religious activities.
