DUMAGUETE CITY: Anti-drug operatives seized more than PHP2.6 million suspected shabu and arrested 16 drug personalities during a three-day operation in Negros Oriental. Lt. Stephen Polinar, spokesperson and information officer of the Negros Oriental Police Provincial Office, said Monday the accomplishment is part of the Simultaneous Anti-Criminality Law Enforcement Operation of the police stations and other police units in the province. The seized shabu weighed around 333.15 grams during the police operations from April 19 to 21. The biggest haul was in Barangay Camanjac on Friday night, which yielded some PHP2 million in suspected shabu and resulted in the arrest of a high-value target. Source: Philippines News Agency
