32 compounds for traffic offences and 6 offences under the Land Transport Department Act were issued during the Sepadu Operation or Joint Operation held in the Brunei Muara, Belait and Temburong Districts.
The operation involved 126 officers and personnel from four law enforcement agencies, the Royal Brunei Police Force, Land Transport Department, Narcotics Control Bureau and Religious Enforcement Division.
It was led by Assistant Superintendent of Police, Pengiran Omar Ali bin Pengiran Manshor, the Head of Enforcement Unit as the Acting Head of Operations and Enforcement Division of the Traffic Investigation and Control Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force.
The 2-hour operation began from ten in the evening and targeted the Hassanal Bolkiah Highway in Brunei Muara, the Container Depot area of Sungai Tujuh Port Department in Belait and Ujong Jalan Control Post Complex in Temburong. The objective of the action was to ensure the public was aware and always alert, as well as obey the country's laws and regulations at all times.
