Bandar seri begawan: Brunei Darussalam is currently experiencing active weather conditions as the Southwest Monsoon continues to influence the region. This monsoon period, which typically lasts until the end of September, is expected to bring occasional heavy and thundery showers across several areas of the country, with these conditions forecasted to persist until Sunday.
According to Radio Television Brunei, wind speeds could reach up to 45 kilometres per hour during or near these heavy showers. Additionally, the sea conditions over Brunei waters are generally expected to be in a slight state, with wave heights ranging from 0.4 to 0.8 metres. The Brunei Darussalam Meteorological Department has advised the public to remain cautious and take necessary precautionary actions in light of the forecasted active weather conditions.
