CAIRO,The border post between Gaza and Egypt has opened to allow convoys of humanitarian aid trucks into Gaza for the first time. Since the Israeli-Hamas war broke out on October 7
Egyptian state television broadcast images of a convoy of 20 trucks entering Gaza this morning. More than 200 trucks carrying about 3,000 tons of aid have been waiting for days near the Rafah border crossing on the Egyptian side.
Earlier, the US Embassy in Israel's Jerusalem informed that Information has been received that the Rafah checkpoint will begin opening at 10:00 AM today local time. The embassy does not know how long the checkpoint will be open to foreigners leaving Gaza. Therefore, there is a possibility of chaos and disorder on both sides of the checkpoint. We ask Americans to evaluate the situation carefully before deciding to travel to the checkpoint. - Thai News Agency
