Brunei: The first flight carrying 252 Brunei Darussalam Haj pilgrims arrived safely at Brunei International Airport at 12.42 on the afternoon of 3rd June.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the arrival of the pilgrims was warmly welcomed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Awang Haji Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Awang Haji Othman, the Minister of Religious Affairs. Also present to greet the pilgrims were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin, the Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force; and His Excellency Saleh bin Abdulkarim Al-Shiha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam.
The second flight carrying more pilgrims is scheduled to arrive on 4th June 2026, marking a significant event for the Muslim community in Brunei as they embark on their spiritual journey.
