The third haj flight carrying 254 Brunei Darussalam pilgrims including three Medical Officers safely arrived in the country at 1.25 this morning. The third flight's passengers comprised haj pilgrims using the Darussalam Holdings haj packages.
To seek blessings for the arrival of the haj pilgrims, doa selamat was read by Awang Haji Abdul Malik bin Haji Jumat, Mosque Affairs Officer.
The pilgrims were greeted upon arrival at the Brunei International Airport by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs and Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Awang Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Second Minister of Defence. Also present were Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Bahrom bin Pengiran Haji Bahar, Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs; Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohammad Irwan bin Haji Hambali, Commissioner of the Royal Brunei Police Force; and Meshal Abdullah A.Habshan, representative of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Saudi Arabia to Brunei Darussalam.
