Bandar Seri Begawan: His Royal Highness Prince Haji Sufri Bolkiah, President of the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council, officiated the Fun Run for the 20th Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games. The event, organized by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) in collaboration with the Brunei Darussalam National Olympic Council (BDNOC), took place at The Empire Brunei, on the afternoon of the 15th of April.
According to Radio Television Brunei, His Royal Highness, who is also the Honorary Executive Board Member of the Olympic Council of Asia, launched the 1.4 kilometre Fun Run Categories for Boys and Girls under 12 years, as well as for Persons with Different Abilities. Joining the event was His Royal Highness Prince Feisal Al-Hussein, ANOC Gender Equity Commission Chair and OCA Chair of the Peace and Sport Standing Committee.
The event featured several competitive categories, including the 2.8 kilometre Men and Women OPEN Category, the Veterans MEN and WOMEN Category, and the 1.4 kilometre Seminar Delegates Run Category.
