Audience and Junjung Ziarah in the Afternoon of Second Day the Istana Is Opened

In the afternoon, some 16,273 well-wishers from all walks of life came to Istana Nurul Iman to convey their Hari Raya greetings and junjung ziarah to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam and Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri as well as other members of the royal family.

His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam granted audience and received junjung ziarah from the male well-wishers.

Also in attendance were His Majesty's sons and brother,

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince;

- His Royal Highness Prince Mohamad Bolkiah;

- His Royal Highness Prince Haji 'Abdul 'Azim;

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Malik and

- His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Wakeel, as well as other members of the Royal Family.

Visitors in the afternoon comprised people from all levels of society including tourists who are currently on a visit to the country.

Meanwhile at another part of Istana Nurul Iman, Her Majesty Duli Raja Isteri granted audience and received junjung ziarah from the female well-wishers. Accompanying Her Majesty were Her Majesty's daughters and sisters,

- Her Royal Highness Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah;

- Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Zariah;

- Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Raabi'atul 'Adawiyyah;

- Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah Sa'adatul Bolkiah;

- Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Majeedah Nuurul Bolkiah;

- Her Royal Highness Princess 'Ameerah Wardatul Bolkiah,

- Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Masna; and

- Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Amal Umi Kalthum Al Islam.

Visiting Istana Nurul Iman is a golden opportunity for visitors to meet and greet His Majesty and other members of the royal family to convey their Hari Raya Aidilfitri greetings. Tomorrow will be the last day Istana Nurul Iman is opened for the public to have an audience and convey their junjung ziarah to His Majesty as well as other members of the royal family starting from 10 in the morning until 12 noon and again from 2 to 4 in the afternoon.
