Australian Prime Minister Commences Two-Day Working Visit to Brunei

Bandar seri begawan: The Prime Minister of Australia and his delegation arrived in the country for a two-day working visit on the afternoon of April 14th. The Honourable Anthony Albanese MP was welcomed at Brunei International Airport by several distinguished officials, including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports; Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Erywan bin Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Haji Mohd Yusof, Second Minister of Foreign Affairs; Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Muhammad Haszaimi bin Bol Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces; and Dato Seri Pahlawan Awang Sulaiman bin Alidin, Commissioner of Police, Royal Brunei Police Force. His Excellency Michael Neil Hoy, Australian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, was also in attendance.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral relations between Australia and Brunei. Discussions are expected to cover a range of topics, including trade, security, and cultural exchanges. The visit underscores the importance both nations place on their diplomatic ties and mutual cooperation in various sectors.
