The presentation of His Majesty's personal gifts represents an invaluable bestowal and one that is very meaningful for the recipients. His Majesty is clearly a Monarch who always prioritizes the people's welfare regardless of background.
In his titah, His Majesty has on occasion stressed on the need for those who are less fortunate to be given care and sympathy, especially from those who are well-off. His Majesty's advice has clearly been heeded by the relevant agencies as well as those who are more financially capable.
The joy shown on the faces of the recipients reflects their gratitude and thankfulness towards His Majesty. His Majesty's sincerity in bestowing the personal gifts to selected groups in the country is intended to bring cheer and joy to underprivileged individuals especially in celebrating Hari Raya Aidil Fitri. For those not celebrating Syawal, His Majesty's personal gifts carry a huge meaning, which can also help them with their daily spending needs.
