Sungai liang: Brunei Fertilizers Industry, BFI Sendirian Berhad has launched a groundbreaking safety park at Sungai Liang Industrial Park, SPARK Centre. Since its inception in 2013, BFI has emerged as a significant player in Southeast Asia, contributing to global food security, advancing sustainability, and promoting economic diversification aligned with Wawasan 2035. This was highlighted by the Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy during the launch event.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah emphasized that the introduction of the safety park is timely, coinciding with BFI’s recent achievement of over 4 million lost time incident-free working hours and successful completion of the IFA protect and sustain certification audit. The safety park, the first of its kind in Southeast Asia, is designed to bolster the company’s safety culture, improve competency standards, and affirm its dedication to operational excellence.
