Berakas: 10 participants comprising 5 Qari and 5 Qariah advanced to the Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Quran Reading for Adults 1447 Hijrah / 2026. The result announcement and prize presentation ceremony for the Semi-Final of the National Level Musabaqah Al-Qur’an Reading for Adults was held at Dewan Muzakarah, International Convention Centre in Berakas on the afternoon of 13th November.
According to Radio Television Brunei, prizes and souvenirs were presented by Yang Berhormat Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengerang Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman, Minister of Religious Affairs. The musabaqah, participated by 68 participants comprising 54 Qari and 14 Qariah, aimed to provide exposure and encouragement in improving the quality of Al-Qur’an reading.
