Jerudong: The Bank Islam Brunei Darussalam (BIBD) Mega Karnival has officially commenced at Bridex Hall, aiming to unite the community and express gratitude to its loyal customers. The event was launched on the afternoon of November 13 by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs and Chairman of BIBD. According to Radio Television Brunei, the carnival will continue until November 18, featuring a range of activities and the participation of 100 vendors offering various sales and services. A key highlight of the event is the launch of the Digital Community Programme, a collaboration between BIBD and the Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry (AITI) of Brunei Darussalam. This initiative aims to enhance digital literacy and promote online safety awareness among the community.
