Blood Donation Centre Urgently Calls for Donors Nationwide

Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Health has announced a critical shortage of blood supply at the Blood Donation Centre and blood banks across the nation. Immediate donations are needed from all blood groups to support ongoing blood transfusion needs in hospitals throughout the country.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Blood Donation Centre at the Department of Laboratory Services is organizing blood donation campaigns to address the shortage. The public is encouraged to participate in these campaigns to bolster the nation's blood reserves. In addition to the scheduled campaigns, individuals can also donate blood directly at the Blood Donation Centre located at Raja Isteri Pengiran Saleha Hospital. The centre operates during office hours from 8 to 11:30 in the morning and from 1:30 to 4 in the afternoon.

To streamline the donation process, the public is highly encouraged to reserve donation slots using the BloodKad application, which can facilitate smoother operations and reduce waiting times for donors.
