Brunei and Saudi Arabia Enhance Youth and Sports Collaboration Through MoU

Bandar seri begawan: In conjunction with the 6th Edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games 2025, Brunei Darussalam and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have strengthened bilateral relations through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports of Brunei Darussalam and the Ministry of Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This agreement focuses on cooperation in the field of youth and sports.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the MoU was signed by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Nazmi Mohamad, Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports, and His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal Al-Saud, Minister of Sports of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In the bilateral discussions following the signing, both ministers expressed their desire to continue enhancing cooperation in youth and sports development between their countries. This includes collaboration on training, capacity building programs, and youth exchange initiatives. His Excellency Awang Haji Harun bin Haji Junid, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Brunei Darussalam to Saudi Arabia, was also present at the event.
