Bandar seri begawan: The Proudly Brunei Business Awards (PBBA) held its annual awards ceremony at the Dewan Mutiara, Mutiara Exchange, Tungku Link, recognizing local enterprises across various sectors for their achievements. The event saw representatives from Business Growth, Youth Entrepreneurs, and Women Entrepreneurs in the country receiving awards of appreciation.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the awards, which were first introduced in 2024, have provided a platform for local businesses to enhance their visibility and connect with key partners and stakeholders within the business ecosystem. The event was graced by Dayang Hajah Tutiaty binti Haji Abdul Wahab, Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, who is also a member of the Brunei Economic Development Board (BEDB).
Organized by BEDB, the annual initiative aims to recognize enterprises that demonstrate robust business performance, adopt sound practices, and exhibit potential for sustainable growth. The awards are part of BEDB's broader efforts to support enterprise development and emphasize the significance of local businesses in contributing to Brunei Darussalam's economic diversification.
