Brunei Darussalam Emphasizes Commitment to Global Education at London Forum

London: Brunei Darussalam's attendance at the Education World Forum (EWF) highlights the Ministry of Education's ongoing efforts to enhance the national education system in alignment with global advancements and Wawasan Brunei 2035. Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Doctor Dayang Hajah Romaizah binti Haji Mohd Salleh, the Minister of Education, represented the country at the forum in London, United Kingdom.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the forum gathered Education Ministers, policymakers, industry leaders, and education experts to deliberate on the progress, challenges, and future directions of the global education sector. The event was officially opened by The Right Honourable Bridget Phillipson, MP, Secretary of State for Education and Minister for Women and Equalities, Department for Education, United Kingdom.

During the forum, the Minister of Education participated in several plenary sessions and bilateral meetings. The event also saw the attendance of Awang Aliuddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Deputy Permanent Secretary for Core Education at Brunei's Ministry of Education. This year's forum was centered around the theme "Educating for a Shared Future: Peace, Planet, Purpose and Pathways".
