Brunei Darussalam Hosts National Laboratory Strategic Plan Workshop

Gadong: The Brunei Darussalam National Laboratory Strategic Plan Workshop is set to enhance the country’s National Health Laboratory System with the creation of its inaugural National Laboratory Strategic Plan. The three-day event commenced on 26th August in Gadong, gathering national and regional laboratory experts, policymakers, and stakeholders.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the workshop includes sharing sessions from regional laboratory experts. The aim is to develop a comprehensive, multisectoral National Laboratory Strategic Plan that focuses on improving laboratory governance, diagnostic services, quality systems, workforce capacity, and regional collaboration. This initiative aligns with the goals of Wawasan Brunei 2035, the International Health Regulations, and ASEAN health security priorities.
