Brunei Hosts Business Meeting to Strengthen Indian-ASEAN Trade Ties

Gadong: The Brunei Business Meeting and Networking Opportunities served as a platform for the Indian-ASEAN Trade Council and Indian Economic Trade Organization to explore collaborative trade partnerships and investment opportunities with the local business community. Held at a hotel in Gadong, the meeting attracted significant attention from both local and international participants.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by prominent figures including Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and the Second Minister of Finance and Economy, as well as Chairman of the Brunei Economic Development Board. Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Dr. Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, was also present.

The Indian delegation expressed continued interest in exploring Brunei as a strategic partner and investment destination. This meeting comes at a crucial time as global economic uncertainty and shifting trade dynamics present both challenges and opportunities for international partnerships.
