Brunei Students Embark on School Twinning Programme in Singapore

Bandar Seri Begawan: The School Twinning Programme, a collaborative educational initiative between Brunei Darussalam and the Republic of Singapore, aims to enhance students' confidence, independence, and adaptability. The programme encourages students to engage in critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving through various collaborative activities. On the morning of May 19th, a group of 12 Year 10 students from Rimba Secondary School, accompanied by their Deputy Principal for Administration and two teachers, departed for Singapore to participate in this enriching programme.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the departure took place at Brunei International Airport, where Dayang Hajah Marina Chek binti Bujang, Director of Schools, Ministry of Education, was present to bid farewell to the students and their mentors. The five-day programme included a visit to Peicai Secondary School in Singapore, offering the participants an opportunity to engage with their peers and educators from a different educational environment.
