Bandar seri begawan: His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, has consented to send congratulatory messages to His Excellency Doctor Thongloun Sisoulith, President of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, and His Excellency Doctor Sonexay Siphandone, Prime Minister of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, as well as the Government and people of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic on the occasion of its 50th National Day.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the messages were sent as a gesture of goodwill and to commemorate the significant milestone of Laos’ National Day. The Sultan extended his warm regards to the leaders and expressed his hopes for continued prosperity and development for the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. The messages highlight the friendly relations and cooperation between Brunei Darussalam and Laos.
