Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Finance and Economy, in collaboration with the Brunei Muara District Office, organised the ‘Jelajah RKN’ programme to disseminate information on the 12th National Development Plan for the Brunei Muara District. The programme, held at Dewan Muhibbah, Berakas, is part of the ministry’s ongoing initiative to promote the planning of the 12th National Development Plan, which serves as a foundation for development in realising Wawasan Brunei 2035.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the session was attended by Pengiran Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim, Acting Brunei Muara District Officer, and Yang Berhormat Awang Amran bin Haji Maidin, a Member of the Legislative Council. The implementation of the 12th National Development Plan projects in the Brunei Muara District focuses on upgrading basic infrastructure. The programme emphasised the importance of active involvement from Penghulu Mukim, Village Heads, and the private sector as key drivers of economic development. It also highlighted the significance of participation from entrepreneurs and local developers in ensuring the success of development projects within the country.
