His Royal Highness Prince Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah ibni His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Her Royal Highness Paduka Seri Pengiran Anak Isteri Pengiran Anak Sarah binti Pengiran Haji Salleh Ab Rahaman last night watched the Semi-finals of the Brunei West Lake Tyres Open Badminton Championship. The championship which took place at the Multi-purpose Hall of the Centrepoint Hotel, Gadong, was participated by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince’s son, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim.
Also present to watch the match was His Royal highness the Crown Prince’s daughter, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Anak Muneerah Madhul Bolkiah.
In the semi-final match, for the under-14 boys singles category, Yang Teramat Mulia Pengiran Muda ‘Abdul Muntaqim failed to advance to the final after losing to Dessen Chung Min Tin with rubber sets 23-21, 16-21 and 19-21.
Meanwhile, a number of final matches in other categories took place at the same venue, among them, the men’s singles, A and B men’s doubles as well as veteran categories.
