Gas supply in Brunei Darussalam during the festive season is adequate. Brunei Shell Marketing Company Sendirian Berhad, BSM reminded users to check their LPG Gas regulator, to switch the regulator off when not in use or leaving the house.
Users are advised to use the gas regulator and hose that is approved and supplied by BSM only. LPG Operation Excellence Executive at BSM said regulator should be changed every 5 years, while hose must be changed every 2 years. The safe distance between gas cylinder and stove is at least 1 point 5 metres.
