Kampung lugu: No casualties were reported in a building fire incident that occurred in Kampung Lugu, 19th December morning. The fire gutted a two-storey restaurant.
According to Radio Television Brunei, a distress call was received at 7:32 in the morning. Upon receiving the call, three fire engines with 16 personnel were deployed to the scene. The fire was brought under control within eight minutes and the cause of the fire as well as the losses are still under investigation.
