Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Education through the Department of Scholarship Management held a certificate presentation and closing ceremony of the Jati Diri ‘Itqan’ Programme on the afternoon of 5th June. The 4-day programme was attended by 29 students who are recipients of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam Government’s Overseas Scholarship Scheme under the Twinning Programme from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, UBD.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the programme aimed to share information on the Scholarship’s regulations and policies while fostering appreciation for the Malay Islamic Monarchy. During the ceremony, scholarship awards and certificates of participation were presented by Doctor Awang Haji Azman bin Ahmad, Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Ministry of Education.
