Brunei: The strategic cooperation and friendly relations between the Syariah Courts of Brunei Darussalam and the Kelantan Syariah Judicial Department are expected to be further strengthened following a recent visit by the Chief Syariah Judge of Kelantan and his delegation to Brunei.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Awang Haji Salim bin Awang Haji Besar, Brunei's Chief Syariah Judge, welcomed the courtesy call from the visiting Chief Syariah Judge of Kelantan and his delegation. The visit also included a bilateral discussion session between Brunei's Syariah Courts and the Kelantan Syariah Judiciary Department, focusing on matters of Syariah law.
