Bandar seri begawan: The Council on Social Welfare, MKM, has launched its annual 'Sungkai Ramadhan Brunei' Project, distributing Iftar meals to 839 clients each day for a period of 15 days. The initiative commenced on February 20th, featuring a different menu daily to cater to the diverse tastes of the recipients.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the distribution efforts targeted various districts, with 514 clients from Brunei Muara District and Tutong District receiving their meals in Anggerek Desa. Additionally, 190 clients from the Belait District and 135 clients from Temburong District were also beneficiaries of the initiative. Beyond the local community, the project extended its reach to include Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, ensuring that they too received iftar meal packs during this period of giving.
