Bandar Seri Begawan: The Ministry of Health has announced that, in line with advice from the Government of Saudi Arabia, individuals planning to undertake the Haj pilgrimage for the 1446 Hijrah/2025 season are required to receive the COVID-19 vaccination. This requirement specifically targets those aged 65 and above, or individuals with certain chronic diseases, who have successfully completed their Haj health screening.
According to Radio Television Brunei, each intending Haj pilgrim will be contacted to arrange their COVID-19 vaccination schedule. The arrangements will be based on the pilgrim's respective district and turn. Pilgrims are advised to bring their Health Record Book (Green Book) and Vaccination Booklet on their scheduled vaccination day.
