Being moderate allows one to see the beauty of life, to understand the meaning of justice and how to endear oneself to Allah the Almighty. That was the message of the Tazkirah Subuh or Dawn Talk in the "Masjidku Makmur, Negara Berkat" programme on moderation this morning. The Tazkirah took place at the Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Mosque in the capital.
Joining the congregants were Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ali bin Apong, the Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism, Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Abdul Mokti bin Haji Mohd Daud, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The talk was delivered by Awang Haji Aziman bin Haji Zaman, Religious Education Officer said being moderate does not mean rejecting progress or giving up on plans for the future. He clarified being moderate meant using Allah's blessings and rewards in doing good, enhancing unity, preventing bad deeds, vices and sins as well as building a harmonious and happy society. Also present were Awang Roslan bin Haji Taja'ah, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (for Finance And Administration) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Awang Wardi bin Haji Mohamad Ali, the Deputy Permanent Secretary (for Tourism) at the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism, and Awang Haji Serudin bin Haji Timbang, the Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary (for Policy and Religion) at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
