De-Escalation Plan for Internet Cafe

The Minister of Transport and Infocommunications also informed that the de-escalation plan for internet cafes is still maintained at the third phase. The ministry also made improvement on the guideline for the re-opening of internet cafe that was published on the 1st of August 2020.

The upgrade includes limiting the number of customers or visitors not exceeding 90 per cent from the normal capacity at any one time, and keep a one-seat distance to ensure physical and social distancing. Business owners are required to provide the BruHealth QR code to be scanned by customers prior to entering the premise. Also visitors with green and yellow codes are allowed entry. Wearing face mask is a must for the business owner, staff and visitor while in the premise.
