Defence and Security 2025 Exhibition Highlights ASEAN Collaboration

Bangkok: The Defence and Security 2025 Exhibition, a prominent event in ASEAN, is taking place in Bangkok, Thailand, running until November 13th. The exhibition serves as a platform for tri-service defence and internal security discussions.

According to Radio Television Brunei, the Ministry of Defence’s delegation to the exhibition is headed by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Defence. Brigadier General Aldi bin Haji Hassan, Commander of the Royal Brunei Land Force, is also in attendance.

The exhibition brings together global defence and security stakeholders, including Ministers, Deputy Ministers of Defence, and Armed Forces Commanders. It aims to enhance collaboration, share expertise, and deepen industry engagement. The event features 617 exhibiting companies, 25 national pavilions, and 289 delegates and key decision-makers from 35 countries.

Yang Berhormat held a bilateral meeting with His Excellency General Nattaphon Narkphanit, Minister of Defence of the Kingdom of Thailand. They discussed strategic and regional matters of mutual interest, reaffirming the close defence relations between Brunei Darussalam and Thailand and their commitment to strengthening defence cooperation.
