Bandar seri begawan: The 12 Nightly Dikir Ceremony commemorating the birthday anniversary of Prophet Muhammad Shallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam concluded at Istana Nurul Iman on the night of September 5th. The event was graced by the presence of Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Lela Cheteria Sahibun Najabah Pengiran Anak Haji Abdul Aziz bin Pengiran Jaya Negara Pengiran Haji Abu Bakar.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamidon bin Begawan Pehin Siraja Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Abdul Hamid. This was succeeded by the reading of Dikir Syarafil Anam. The Royal Brunei Armed Forces marked the occasion with the firing of 21 cannon shots.
Yang Dimuliakan Begawan Pehin Khatib Dato Paduka Awang Haji Hamidon also recited the Doa Dikir, while the Doa Selamat was read by Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Paduka Seri Utama Dato Paduka Seri Setia Haji Awang Salim bin Haji Besar. The ceremony was attended by various dignitaries, including Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran-Pengiran Cheteria, Cabinet Ministers, Members of Councils, Deputy Ministers, Pengiran-Pengiran Peranakan, Pehin-Pehin Manteri, Manteri-Manteri Hulubalang, Manteri-Manteri Pendalaman, and Permanent Secretaries.
