Bandar seri begawan: The Masjid Universiti at Universiti Brunei Darussalam, in collaboration with the Mosque's Takmir committee and Muslimah, recently hosted the Dikir Maulud Ceremony. The event saw participation from a delegation from the Ministry of Defence.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Retired Brigadier General Dato Seri Pahlawan Haji Alirupendi bin Haji Perudin, Permanent Secretary at the Ministry of Defence, was present at the ceremony. The Dikir Maulud is an annual event organized by the mosque. It invites dikir groups from various ministries, universities, and associations to participate in activities that glorify and enliven the mosque during the nights leading up to the birth date of Prophet Muhammad Shallalahu 'Alaihi Wassalam.
