Temburong: The delegation of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and its departments continued the Dikir Maulud Ceremony at the Kampung Selangan Mosque, Temburong District, on the afternoon of August 26. The delegation was led by Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan, the Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs. The ceremony included a short talk titled “Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wasallam Adalah Teladan Keluarga Sakinah, Mawaddah Warahmah” and the recitation of dikir. Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, Member of the Legislative Council, was also present.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) held a similar ceremony in cooperation with the takmir committee and Muslimah of Masjid Universiti, UBD. The event saw participation from the delegation of Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association. Awang Haji Junaidi bin Haji Husin, Chief Commissioner of Scouts, was present at the ceremony.
