Bandar Seri Begawan: A total of $16,252 was collected during the 'Pasar Kitani Charity Briskwalk 2025' organized by the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood, Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. 50 percent of the amount will be contributed to SMARTER Brunei, while the other 50 percent will be donated to the Learning Ladders Society. The presentation took place at Rimba Agribusiness Centre, 4th May morning.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the contributions were presented by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Abdul Manaf bin Haji Metussin, Minister of Primary Resources and Tourism. The donations were proceeds collected through registration of participants and several companies. Charity Briskwalk was an initiative of the Department of Agriculture and Agrifood aimed to motivate farmers and agrifood entrepreneurs in increasing farm produce and agrifood products through ''Pasar Kitani''. Various activities were also held, including the sale of agricultural produce.
