Bandar Seri Begawan: The Kampung Menunggol Consultative Council held a Donation Presentation Ceremony for Orphans and Breaking of Fast with senior citizens of Kampung Menunggol. Organised in collaboration with Cityneon Displays And Construction Sendirian Berhad; Brunei Hotel; Payung Emas Enterprise; Mangkuk Emas Trading Sendirian Berhad; MNP Enterprise and Haji Raffee bin Haji Yussof, it took place at a hotel in the capital, 26th March afternoon.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the event was attended by Yang Berhormat Awang Zainol bin Mohamed, Member of the Legislative Council. During the ceremony, donations were presented to 18 orphans and 50 senior citizens. The event also saw the presence of Awang Misle bin Haji Abd Karim, Acting Deputy Permanent Secretary for Administration and Finance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
The initiative reflects the collaborative efforts of various organizations and individuals in supporting the community and fostering a spirit of togetherness during the fasting month.
