Bandar seri begawan: The Ministry of Education organized the first session of a policy framework workshop on a comprehensive educational approach to prevent and address bullying. Held on August 25th, the event was organized by the Office of the Deputy Permanent Secretary for Policy and Corporate, Ministry of Education, and took place at the ministry. The workshop aimed to create a learning environment that is safe, empathetic, and conducive in all educational institutions.
According to Radio Television Brunei, Doctor Shamsiah Zuraini Kanchanawati binti Haji Tajuddin, Permanent Secretary for Core Education at the Ministry of Education, was present at the event. The workshop featured a briefing on bullying in the context of Maqasid Al-Syari’ah. Various stakeholders participated in the 2-day workshop, contributing to discussions on creating effective strategies for addressing bullying in educational settings.
