Educational institutions nationwide join in expressing their condolences to the 23 teachers and students who died in a school bus fire accident. Suan Dusit University posted its condolences to the family and mourned the passing of Ms. Kanokwan Sriphong, or Khru Sao Roi, a teacher at Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School (an alumnus of the Bachelor of Education Program in Primary Education, Faculty of Education, Suan Dusit University). It stated that Ms. Kanokwan had just received her diploma on September 26th. She graduated with a Bachelor of Education Program in Primary Education with second-class honors from the Faculty of Education, Suan Dusit University. In this regard, Khru Kanokwan or Khru Sao Noi is considered a teacher who performed her duties as a teacher until the last second because the rescue team found her body hugging a student in her arms. The teacher had just been assigned as a teaching assistant for Grade 1 at Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School on July 28, 2023. At Anuban Khruburi School in Na khon Ratchasima Province, the school director led more than 900 teachers and students to spend time in front of the flagpole, mourn, pray, and dedicate merit to the teachers and students of Wat Khao Phraya Sangkharam School in Uthai Thani Province who lost their lives in a field trip bus accident, totaling 23 people, to express their condolences to the school and the families of the deceased as part of the same educational institution. Meanwhile, the Facebook pages of every school in Nakhon Ratchasima Province posted messages of condolence and mourning for the teachers and students who lost their lives in this incident. Similarly, at Ban Muang School, Mueang District, Khon Kaen Province, teachers and students from kindergarten 1 to Mathayom 3 joined together to hold a minute of silence in front of the flagpole to express their condolences for the tragic incident of a fire on a field trip bus. The director of Ban Muang School revealed that teachers and students were saddened and shocked by the incident.
