Bandar seri begawan: Efforts to curb road accidents and upgrade the digital system were among the issues raised by Appointed Members during the Committee of Supply Debate for topics under the Ministry of Transport and Infocommunications.

According to Radio Television Brunei, initiatives discussed included measures to curb or monitor speed limits on the road, as well as the necessity for local professional human resources in managing the nation's digital systems. The debate also touched on creating commercial spaces at the departure hall to support a more flexible retail model.

Guidelines to ensure the safety of cyclists and road users were also highlighted, alongside strategic measures aimed at enhancing the airport's competitiveness as an aviation hub. Additionally, a more systematic approach to coordinating runners' services and registered companies was proposed.

Efforts to strengthen information management were emphasized to ensure the accuracy and security of information. There was also a call to introduce a system to identify the Person with Disability vehicle stickers or permits, ensuring they are used in an orderly manner with integrity.
