According to Radio Television Brunei, the ministry aims to ensure the food sector continues to grow and consistently contributes towards efforts in diversifying the nation’s economy and ensuring food security. The ministry is focusing on a strategic initiative known as the Export Drive Initiative. This approach will not only emphasize food production activities to achieve self-sufficiency but also encourage production that is oriented towards the export market.
