Temburong: The reading of the End of Hijrah Year and the 1447 Hijrah New Year Doa took place in three districts on the late afternoon of June 26.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the ceremonies were held at significant mosques across the districts, each attended by notable government officials.
In Temburong District, the event was hosted at Utama Mohd Salleh Mosque in Bangar Town. The ceremony was graced by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Doctor Awang Haji Mohammad Isham bin Haji Jaafar, the Minister of Health, alongside Yang Berhormat Awang Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nasir, a Member of the Legislative Council.
In the Tutong District, the Hassanal Bolkiah Mosque in Tutong Town was the venue for the observance. This event was attended by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi bin Haji Awang Mohamad, the Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports.
Meanwhile, in the Belait District, the RPN Kampung Pandan Mosque served as the main location for the ceremony. Dato Seri Paduka Awang Haji Mohamad Azmi bin Haji Mohd Hanifah, the Deputy Minister for Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, was present at the event.
