Bandar seri begawan: The opportunities for cooperation to strengthen relations between the European Union (EU) and Brunei Darussalam were among matters explored during the visit of a delegation from the European External Action Services (EEAS) to the country. The delegation made a recent working visit and met with senior government officials.
According to Radio Television Brunei, the discussions during the visit covered a range of key issues, including climate change, energy transition, digitalisation, and technology. There was also a focus on EU-Brunei Darussalam bilateral relations, as well as ASEAN-EU relations. Notably, Brunei Darussalam is currently serving as the country coordinator for ASEAN-EU relations for the 2024 to 2027 term, highlighting the significance of these discussions in shaping future collaborations.
